MAESTRO DI SANT'IVO

(active in Florence, last quarter of the 14th and the first half of the 15th century)
The Madonna and Child enthroned, flanked by Saints John the Baptist and Julian, as well as Saints Catherine (?) and Dorothy. Circa 1390–1400.
Tempera and gold ground on panel.
76.8 × 44.8 cm.

Provenance:
- Sale Finarte, Milan, 12.–13.3.1963, Lot 147 (as Mariotto di Nardo).
- Collection of Filippo Giordano della Lanze, 1966.
- Private collection, Switzerland.
