Patek Philippe, early and fine pocket watch with 1/4-repetition, ca. 1860.

Yellow gold 750.
D 48 mm.

Case No. 15890, engine-turned savonnette case, the dust cover engraved: "No. 15890 Invention & Exécution de Patek Philippe & Co A Genève".
Dial: Enamel dial with small second at 9h.
Movement: Fine gilt bridge movement with compensation balance, flat hairspring and balance lever. 1/4-repetition on two gongs, triggered by a slider on the side. Early crown-winding mechanism, with hand adjustment via the crown.
Accessories: Expertise by Prof. Curtit (Curator of the Watch Museum in La Chaux-de-Fonds).
