Philippines, Hong Kong, Switzerland, c. 1892–1934. Album with 172 original photographs.

Albumen prints, photochrom prints, collotypes, gelatin silver prints. Mounted on cardboard supports. Partly with imprinted legends. However, mostly annotated by hand on the mounts. Various formats (approx. 4 × 6 to 20.5 × 27.5 cm); Album 29 × 40.5 cm. (48) mounts. Half-leather album of the period with gold embossed inscription "Marcel Kleinert".

Private travel album, probably by a Swiss photographer, possibly Marcel Kleinert. With portraits, city views and landscape photographs from Iloilo, Silay, Guimaras and Negros. In addition, photographs by Zangaki of the Suez Canal, some photos of Hong Kong (c. 1895), portraits of Japanese geishas, as well as numerous depictions of the Alps and everyday scenes from Switzerland. Including some photochrom prints from Photoglob Zurich AG.

Most somewhat faded or browned, light oxidation mirroring, faint bumped areas and scratch marks, partly with slight edge tears, the gelatin silver prints mostly discoloured or with oxidation mirroring. The mounts slightly browned, light foxing. Front inner hinge of the album broken, binding loosened. The binding a bit rubbed and stained, the covers warped.
