Silver bromide gelatin prints fix mounted on firm paper. Vintages. Each approx. 9.5 × 6.5 to 15 × 21 cm. Album 24.5 × 33 cm. [10] leaves. Mounts. Original cardboard cover with cord binding and gold-stamped cover title, the back cover with gold-stamped photographer stamp "Fr. Schmelhaus. Zürich-Pfauen", cardboard slipcase of the period.
With portraits of the ETH employees and the facilities of the chemical department, as well as exterior views of the main building.
The first prints with slight oxidation mirroring, otherwise a very clean exemplar. The edges of the cover slightly rubbed and bumped. Edges of the slipcase partly slightly cracked, somewhat browned and spotted. Overall in very good condition.
