PANTALONE FROM THE COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE FOR THE DUKE OF WEISSENFELS

Meissen, ca. 1744, model by Johann Joachim Kändler and Peter Reinicke.
With a white coat over an iron red vest and knickerbockers, yellow shoes. The base, with applied blossoms and leaves.
H 12.8 cm.

Right hand, re-attached, chips.
