Japan, 18th/19th c. Height 9.2 cm, Ø 4 cm (netsuke).
Decorated with herons in shallow water in gold, silver and mother-of-pearl hira- and takamakie with kirikane on kinji ground. The interior of nashiji. Signed Bunryûsai (Kajikawa Bunryûsai). Lacquered Manju-Netsuke signed Kajikawa and globular ojime.
Provenance: Old private collection from the French part of Switzerland.
