Woodcut on laid paper with watermark Crowned Double-headed Eagle with A and the letters HG (similar to Meder 228, from 1585-1613).
Monogrammed and dated in the block.
39.7 x 28 cm. Framed.

Bartsch 14; Schoch/Mende/Scherbaum ; Meder 121, editions after 1511, without text, probably b (of d, before the edition of 1675). - A fine, strong, predominantly even and clearly defined impression with small margins around the border line. The line partly enhanced or supplemented with pen and black ink. The recto partly browned, the verso with more pronounced browning. The central fold backed with old Japan paper, by which some fine breaks in the paper have been closed. A few thin spots, one small closed hole in the upper part of the robe of Christ. Overall still in good condition.
