A MAGNIFICENT AND RARE EIGHT-PRONGED IRON VAJRA.

Tibet, 12th/13th c. Length 17 cm.
Decorated with demon heads and inlaid with gold and bands of silver and copper.

Provenance: Old German private collection, purchased at Schoettle Ostasiatica. Expertise by Prof. D. I. Lauf, 1984.

華麗稀有九股金剛杵。

西藏，12/13世紀，長17厘米。
一個中軸股叉和八個彎曲的外股叉。嵌金，銀和紅銅的鉄金剛杵。
