CUP AND SAUCER, Meissen, circa 1745. Painted with a Kauffahrteiscene and landscape setting with figures in gilt lattice work cartouches picked out in black, the interior of the cup with a landscape scene in purple camaïeu, crossed swords in underglaze-blue, gilt numeral 39 to both pieces, small chip to saucer, gilding slightly rubbed.
