OVAL DISH, Strasbourg, Paul Hannong, circa 1754-60. Façon d'argent, painted with 'fleurs fines', a rose and a tulip and smaller flowers to the rim, edged in brown, painter's mark P in manganese. 45cm. Haircrack of 7 cm length. Provenance: Private collection, Basel.
