CABINET ON STAND,Renaissance, Flemish, probably Antwerp circa 1650/1700. Ebonised and shaped wood inlaid with red tortoiseshell and ivory fillets. The drawer fronts with finely painted landscapes with ruins and views on stone. The cabinet with overhanging shaped cornice and later stand, with 8 tapering legs, plinth base and bun feet. The front with central door between 2 drawers with baluster rail, flanked by 4 drawers each side with ebonised mouldings. Bronze and brass mounts. 114x42x158 cm. Provenance: Swiss private collection
