COMMODE "AUX FAUNES AILES",Louis XIV/Regence, from a Paris master workshop, circa 1720. Amaranth in veneer, inlaid with fine ebony fillets. The front with 4 drawers. Exceptionally rich, matte and polished gilt bronze mounts and applications. Shaped "Rouge Royal" top. 131x66x84.5 cm. Provenance: - Perrin, Paris. - From a highly important European private collection.

Louis XIV/Régence, aus einer Pariser Meisterwerkstatt, um 1720.
Amarant gefriest und mit feinen Ebenholzfilets eingelegt. Rechteckiger Korpus mit abgerundeten Eckstollen auf wellig ausgeschnittener Zarge mit geschweiften Beinen. Wenig gebauchte Front mit 4 Schubladen. Ausserordentlich reiche, matt- und glanzvergoldete Bronzebeschläge und -applikationen in Form von Maskaronen, Zephir- und Uraniabüsten, Voluten und Zierfries. Profilierte "Rouge Royal"-Platte. Restaurationen, die Bronzen teils ersetzt. 131x66x84,5 cm.
