The downcast eyes and the meditative smile express contemplation and concentration. The carefully arranged hair is separated by a band, the only adornment of the Buddha. Sandstein. Der Buddha sitzt in Meditationshaltung auf einer zusammengerollten Naga, welche ihn mit sieben Köpfen schützend beschirmt. Der gesenkte Blick und das versunkene Lächeln drücken Sammlung und Konzentration aus. Die sorgfältige Frisur ist mit einem Band abgesetzt, dem einzigen Schmuck des Buddha. Rückseitig findet sich auf dem Schlangenbaldachin zwischen dichtem Schuppenmuster eine feine Lotosrosette.
