CHALICE. Austria, 20th century, 18 carat gold with gemstones. Round foot, relief cartouches interspersed with enamelled stalks of wheat and clusters of grapes and rocaille décor respectively. Shaft with bead and reel rows and node framed by cherubs with cross cartouches. Chalice decorated with stalks of wheat, clusters of grapes and angels and 2 painted miniatures of Mary. Smooth upper rim. Set with 50 rosette-cut diamonds and 10 small pearls. H 22 cm. 648 g.
