VARIA - Cassette with bible quotations, German or Swiss, ca. middle of 19th cent. Contains ca. 365 small rolls of paper with gold bordures and handwritten daily mottos for the year. Enclosed the orig. chased tweezers to pick them up for personal edification. Cont. cassette with label on lid: ‚Dein Wort ist meines Fusses Leuchte und ein Licht auf meinem Wege. Psalm 119, 105'. Obl. oct. (14.6x 8.8 x 4.5 cm). Lid torn.
Seltene, ausserordentlich liebenswürdige und für das 19. Jh. typische Papierarbeit. Auf Innendeckel alte handschriftl. Klebereste. Deckel auf einer S. eingerissen.
