IMPORTANT CONSOLE "AUX GUIRLANDES",Louis XVI, attributed to G. JACOB (Georges Jacob, maitre 1765), Paris circa 1770/75. Fluted, pierced and exceptionally finely carved gilt wood. Rectangular, profiled gray/white speckled marble top. 128x52x89 cm.
Provenienz: Aus einer europäischen Sammlung. Bedeutende Kommode von bestechender Qualität. Eine von G. Jacob gefertigte Konsole mit sehr ähnlichen Girlanden ist heute Bestand der Sammlungen des Musée du Louvre (Inventarnr. OY 5519) und abgebildet in: B.
