SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, ca. 1900. Pink gold 750. Very decorative necklace of a plain "tour de cou" set with 33 untreated, oval sapphires weighing ca. 4.00 ct, connected to one another by small gold bars, additionally decorated with 10 small rose-cut diamonds. Matching elegant, removable decorative part with graduated volute and tendril motifs, set with 36 oval sapphires weighing ca. 12.00 ct and ca. 230 diamond-cut roses weighing ca. 1.00 ct. Clasp additionally decorated with 2 oval sapphires. L ca. 40 cm. Case signed Max Rottmanner, Court Jeweller, Munich.

Sehr dekoratives Collier aus einem schlichten Tour-de-cou, besetzt mit 33 unbehandelten, ovalen Saphiren von zus. ca. 4.00 ct miteinander verbunden durch kleine Goldstege, zur Schauseite hin zusätzlich verziert mit 10 kleinen Diamantrosen als Zwischenteile. Dazu ein elegantes, abnehmbares Zierteil mit Voluten- und Rankenmotiven im Verlauf, besetzt mit 36 ovalen Saphiren von zus. ca. 12.00 ct sowie ca. 230 Diamantrosen von insgesamt ca. 1.00 ct. Verschluss zusätzlich verziert mit 2 ovalen Saphiren. L ca. 40 cm.
