Régence, Paris ca. 1730/40. The movement signed Le Faucheur à Paris (Alexandre Le Faucheur, maître 1729).
Ebonized wood, brown tortoiseshell, gilt bronze and brass and tin. Movement with anchor escapement, striking the 1/2-hour on bell. Fine, gilt mounts and applications designed as children playing, busts, tendrils, leaves, shells and cartouches.
