Paris, 1923. Folio (36 × 27.6 cm). Original velvet binding with metal applications, including four corner fittings with coats of arms to front cover. Also with 1 (of 2) metal clasps (slightly bumped and rubbed, velvet covers somewhat worn, discoloured and with small defected areas).
Copy number 29 of the 50 copies printed in English for America, which are referred to as ‘The Royal Edition’. With autograph signatures of Queen Marie and King Ferdinand I of Romania. On the penultimate page there is also another autograph of Queen Marie, dated 1929. - Minor browning. - Beautiful copy of this very rare work.
