Koller has been holding stand-alone design auctions since 2006, and the Design department has handled important collections including the 2009 sale of a private collection comprising works by Achille Castiglioni, Charles & Ray Eames, Piero Fornasetti, Mario Botta, Philippe Starck and especially seven limited edition pieces by Ron Arad – still the largest number of works by this designer ever offered in one auction.

Today, Koller’s Design auctions continue to appeal to a broad cross-section of the buying public, from young collectors looking to furnish their homes to more seasoned connoisseurs who appreciate the classic and often unique forms of these works of art, as well as their perfect suitability to our contemporary lifestyle. From classics by Marcel Breuer, Le Corbusier, Hans Wegner, Eero Saarinen, Finn Juhl, Arne Jacobsen, Mies van der Rohe, Gabriella Crespi and Florence Knoll, to more recent & contemporary pieces by Elisabeth Garouste & Mattia Bonetti, Fernando & Humberto Campana, Emmanuel Babled, Frank Gehry, and many others. Koller’s Design auctions are an excellent source for collectors and designers.

Cyril Himmer, Head of Department for Design, is available to estimate single items or entire collections for our upcoming auctions.

Consignments are accepted until late April for our July auctions, and late September for our December sales.
