The inquisition of Marranos in Spain. Oil on canvas. 61 x 107 cm. Dr. Hillel Kazovsky of the Herbrew University of Jerusalem, Department of Modern Art confirms that this painting is a preparatory oil study by Moses Maimon for the famous painting of 1892/93 in the Art Academy of St. Petersburg.
