The original of the shield, design attributed to ETIENNE DELAUNE (ca. 1519 - ca. 1583) , JEAN I COUSIN (ca.1490 - ca. 1560) and BAPTISTE PELLERIN (d 1575), produced circa 1555, is at the Musée du Louvre and another version is at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
