TURRET CLOCK,Renaissance, Augsburg circa 1600. Gilt brass, exceptionally finely engraved on all sides. On a later pivoting base. The front with silver dial, engraved with Roman and Arabic numerals for hours and minutes, above a smaller dial with Roman numerals for the quarter hours. Alarm disc verso. Partly glassed sides. Fine verge escapement with striking on 2 bells. 15x15x35.5 cm. With base 23x23x42 cm.

Renaissance, Augsburg um 1600.
Vergoldetes, allseitig ausserordentlich fein graviertes Messing. Turmförmiges, architektonisch gestaltetes Gehäuse mit Kuppel-Abschluss, Galerien und zahlreichen Zierpfeilern, auf späterem, drehbarem Quadersockel mit Scheibenfüssen. Die Front mit silbernem Zifferblatt mit gravierten römischen und arabischen Ziffern für Stunden und Minuten, darunter kleineres Zifferblatt mit römischen Viertelstunden. Verso Weckerscheibe.
