Wood cut on fine laid paper with watermark (unidentified). 29.7 x 21.3 cm. Bartsch 77; Meder 189 probably III g (of III g, without text). – Very fine, strong, strong black and clear impression with a fine margin around the outer line, which has been retraced in parts in black pen. Two corners with small pin holes. Scattered stains, verso minor remains of old mount. Very good condition.

Joachims Opfer wird vom Hohenpriester zurückgewiesen. Um 1504. Aus dem Marienleben. Holzschnitt auf feinem Bütten mit Wz. (nicht identifiziert). 29,7 x 21,3 cm. Bartsch 77; Meder 189 wohl III g (von III g, ohne den Text). - Sehr schöner, kräftiger, tiefschwarzer und klarer Druck mit feinem Rändchen um die Einfassungslinie. Diese mit schwarzer Feder stellenweise nachgezogen. In zwei Ecken kleine Löchlein von Nadelstichen. Einzelne Fleckchen, verso wenige Reste alter Montierung. Sehr guter Erhaltungszustand.

Below the image a four-line text with illuminated initial D. The margins edged with borders of lilies; with a skull on the lower margin. Verso text in Latin with further small initials. Framed.

Einzelblatt aus einem französischen Stundenbuch, um 1520 mit der Darstellung der Auferweckung des Lazarus. Gouache auf Pergament, 9,9 x 6,6 cm. Unterhalb der Darstellung mit vier - zeiligem Text und illuminierter Initiale "D". Die Ränder sind eingefasst von Bordüren mit Lilien, am unteren Rand ein Totelschädel. Verso lateinischer Text mit weiteren kleine Initialen. Gerahmt.

Bartsch 3; Meder 3 probably d (of e, with faint scratch on the toes left, but without the vertical scratch on the doorway). Mostly clear impression with small margin around the plate edge. Fully backed with Japan paper. Attached at the top on backing board. Some minor foxing in parts, and with slight wear. One defect on upper right margin, reaching just as far as the image, a further defect on the lower right margin, also reaching as far as the image. Despite these issues, in overall good condition.

Der Schmerzensmann an der Säule, 1509. Titelblatt der Kupferstichpassion. Kupferstich, 11,9 x 7,4 cm. Bartsch 3; Meder 3 wohl d (von e, mit dem leicht sichtbaren Kratzer in den Zehen links, aber ohne die vertikalen Kratzer in der Türöffnung). Überwiegend klar zeichnender Druck mit kleinem Rand um die Plattenkante. Ganzflächig mit Japan hinterlegt. Im oberen Bildbereich auf Unterlagenkarton fixiert. Stellenweise unbedeutend fleckig und mit leichten Gebrauchsspuren. Eine Läsur am oberen Rand rechts, die knapp in die Darstellung reicht, eine weitere Läsur am unteren Rand rechts, die ebenfalls bis in die Darstellung reicht. Trotz der genannten Mängel insgesamt guter Gesamteindruck.

ITALIAN, 16TH CENTURY.Probably after Giulio Romano (1499-1546). Cloelia überquert den Tiber auf dem Rücken eines Pferdes. (Cloelia crossing the Tiber on the back of a horse) Copper engraving, 40 x 55 cm. Engraved inscription on lower margin: Julius Romanus Inventor. With old collectors‘ numbers.- Very fine, strong and even impression. With scattered paper damage in the broad margins. Overall good condition.

Wohl nach Giulio Romano (1499-1546). Cloelia überquert den Tiber auf dem Rücken eines Pferdes. Kupferstich, 40 x 55 cm. Am unteren Rand mittig gestochen bezeichnet: Julius Romanus Inventor. GHISI, GIORGIO MANTOVANO (1512 Mantua 1582).After Giulio Romano, 1573/74. Amor and Psyche. Copper engraving, 31.8 x 23.2 cm. Bartsch 45; Lewis/Lewis 50 IV (before the reduction of the plate on the upper edge). – Trimmed on upper and lower margin as far as the plate edge, on the left and right sides trimmed to the image. With trace of horizontal crease, attached by the corners to backing board. Overall good condition.

Nach Giulio Romano, 1573/74. Amor und Psyche. Kupferstich, 31,8 x 23,2 cm. Bartsch 45; Lewis/Lewis 50 IV (vor der am oberen Rand verkleinerten Platte). - Am oberen und unteren Rand auf die Plattenkante, am rechten und linken Rand bis an die Darstellung beschnitten. Mit horizontaler Knickspur, an den Ecken auf Unterlagenbogen alt fixiert. Insgesamt in guter Erhaltung.

GHISI, GIORGIO MANTOVANO (1512 Mantua 1582).Herkules Viktorius über dem Haupt der Hydra. Circa 1558. Copper engraving after Givanni Battista Bertani. 34 x 20.4 cm. Bartsch 44; Lewis/Lewis 24. – Even and clear impression. Mostly trimmed to the image, sometimes trimmed into the image. Fully backed with laid paper. Several closed defects. Paper loss to the lower right corner. Traces of red chalk in parts; tiny brown spots and some wear. Despite these issues, still a good overall impression. Very rare.

Herkules Viktorius über dem Haupt der Hydra. Um 1558. Kupferstich nach Givanni Battista Bertani. 34 x 20,4 cm. Bartsch 44; Lewis/Lewis 24. - Gleichmässiger und klarer Druck. Überwiegend bis zur Darstellung beschnitten, teils knapp innerhalb dieser. Ganzflächig mit Bütten alt hinterlegt. Mehrere geschlossene Läsuren. Die untere rechte Ecke mit Papierverlust. Stellenweise Spuren von Rötel. Wenige Braunflecken und Gebrauchsspuren. Trotz der genannten Mängel noch guter Gesamteindruck. - Sehr selten.
