Decorative mahogany case with ebony edges, the back with a sliding cover. Fire-gilt bezel, handle and spherical feet. Fine enamel dial signed: "Breguet et Fils" (Note: It is, however, not the famous Paris clock maker). Winding lever hidden under the bezel at 6h. Movement in the typical Franche-Comté style: Only one spring barrel for the movement and the striking mechanism. 1/4 hour and 1 hour strike on gongs, pendulum with lever escapement. D 22 x 14 x 10 cm.

Mahogany case in three parts, finely grained. Original chronometer tag signed: Breguet No. 886. The brass parts in part with the original protective lacquer still on. Hinged upper cover with brass corners, original key. Cardanic suspension in brass. Silver-plated, engraved dial, signed: "Breguet No. 886, Depot De La Marine". Retrograde power reserve at 12h, small second at 6h. Fine, like new, 2-day chronometer movement with fusee and chain No. 886 / 455. Spring chronometer escapement type: Earnshaw with diamond cap stone. With original Breguet winding key. Case, movement, dial signed and numbered. D 16 x 16 x 17 cm.
