A TOWER CLOCK,

Renaissance, Southern Germany or Prague, c. 1590/1600.
Gilt copper and brass. The front with engraved number ring (later) for hours above a smaller dial for the quarter hours. Same arrangement verso for the striking. Movement with quarter-hour striking on 2 bells, spindle escapement and front pendulum (missing). Formerly with balance wheel. Alarm dismounted, supplements. The gilding rubbed. 1 baluster replaced. The top baluster originally partly with balustrade. Movement requires servicing.

A RARE CROSS-SHAPED NECK WATCH WITH ROCK CRYSTAL,

probably Conrad Kreizer, Germany, end of the 16th century.
Gilt copper gilt, brass and translucent enamel champlevé in the form of stylised tendrils and leaves. Cross-shaped case with hinged, faceted rock crystal cover. The fine movement with spindle escapement hinged, the dial and backplate with decoration in translucent champlevé enamel, stylised leaves and tendrils. Spring escapement with chain and worm wheel. The rear housing section replaced, originally probably in rock crystal. Fine hanging eye with engraved leaf decoration. Leather-covered case in the form of a cross. Small breakout on the dial, losses and additions to the enamel.

Movement with spindle escapement and with quarter hour striking on 2 bells. Repetition on demand. The movement, dial and case of the same period, but later associated. 2 balusters on underside missing. Supplements. 1 hand missing. Restoration required.

German, Augsburg c. 1590/1600.
Walnut stock with short butt, with bone inlays of dogs hunting rabbits and deer, busts, fruits, etc. (1 plaque missing). The butt end plate old supplemented. Two superimposed round barrels with squared chamber halves, rich parcel gilt etched decoration, sight missing (barrel length 66.5 and 60.5 cm, calibre 9 mm). The chamber with Augsburger punch, "Pinienzapfen". Double wheel lock with external wheels, pans with sliding covers. Angled iron trigger guard. Ramrod (incomplete).
L 90 cm.
