Dry varnish with gilding over black varnish. Smiling gently, the Buddha is enthroned in the maravijaya position on a smooth, narrow base. The curved folds and hems of the robe are shown in slight relief. Inlaid gemstones and little mirrors adorn the hem of the robe and the hairline. Removable Ketumala. Minor chips.
