Historicism, Basel, 19th century.

Carved wood and metal, designed as a female bust wearing Renaissance apparel, featuring two fish tails and a set of antlers. The woman is holding two coat-of-arms cartouches, one of which features the Vischer family's coat of arms. Round chandelier with five light arms. Suspended from three metal rods. Formerly operated with gaseous fuel.

Skeletonized brass case. Pierced dial, featuring the hours in Roman numerals. Movement with lever escapement, striking the 1/4-hour on bell and gong. Fusee-and-chain winding mechanism. On a carved wooden base. Later plexiglass cloche. 1 key.

Wooden core, covered with braided bands of blackened iron. Front with door, the corners with iron-clad pilaster strips. Door with three locks, each with two bolts. The keyholes, with relief-decorated covers. The inside, fitted with two shelves and lockable drawer. 3 keys.
