Napoleon III in the style of Louis XVI, ca. 1860, Paris 19th century.

Boxwood, tulipwood, mahogany, ironwood and other woods, inlaid with blossoms in lozenge-shaped latticework and a round reserve, and decorated with bronze and pearl beading and rosettes. Rectangular top, with tall frame all around, featuring two-tone bisquit porcelain plates and bronze rosettes, and mythological figures. Hinged front. Opulent and finely chiseled gilt bronze mounts, designed as rosettes, a wreath of roses and blossoming branches.

Algerian onyx and gilt bronze. Round flat bowls on a trumpet-shaped foot in gilt bronze, with "Grubenschmelz" enamel frieze and stepped rectangular base on scrolled feet. Curved handles designed as satyr heads and snakes. The walls of the bowls, decorated with tendril- and flower frieze, likewise in enamel.

Formerly operated with gaseous fuel.
