Silver hilt, composed of cast and forged parts, parcel-gilt. Olive-shaped pommel, rivet head, the knuckle guard ending in the grip base, short quillon, two decorative grip hooks, guard plate consisting of kidney-shaped halves; maker's mark Laurent Dépéé and "L" with a crown on top = Paris 16.7.1774. Symmetrically-applied decoration, medallions with musical instruments, garlands. Handle wrapped with original silver wire. Blade with triangular cross-section (L 70.3 cm), etched decoration, blued and gilt.

Two langets, one of which is shortened, two shaft bands, ferrule. Octagonal shaft, some traces of worming, carved initials of the owner.

Locking box, cocking lever and safety with a finely engraved hunting scene, hound pursuing a fox, owner's coat-of-arms and tendrils. Iron mounts, trigger guard with horn extension, butt cap, three ramrod sleeves, walnut half-stock, stock neck with owner's coat-of-arms, butt with cheek piece and decorated with a fine hunting scene: hunter, game, dragon, tendrils. The bone end-piece of the shaft is engraved with the Saxon coat-of-arms, miners' coat-of-arms with crossed picks, ornaments, and the owner's initials.

Gilt, brass grip, spirally grooved, the grip base is decorated with a raised ornamental band. The round barrel is located in the grip piece and is closed by a long iron plug, which also serves as the ramrod. The mechanical parts of the iron flintlock mechanism were mounted on both sides of the grip. Single-edged blade (L 21.7 cm), double-edged towards the tip, gilt base, with engraved decoration.
