Prints approx. 15 x 13 cm to approx. 21 x 27.5 cm (various portrait and landscaper formats); Album 26 x 42 cm. [52] mounted boards. Half-linen binding of the period.
Provenance: Private collection, France.
A mounted handwritten note with calculations on industrial waste for a block of carbon indicates that the images were probably made for an iron foundry for Siemens. Shown are various castings in portrait-like shots in which the casting is in the centre of the image. Additional photos show equipment, interior photographs of the foundry and some workers.
