WALL CLOCK / RELIGIEUSE

Neuchâtel, 2nd half of the 18th century.
Rectangular, wooden case, glazed on three sides. White enamel dial with the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals. Iron movement with brass gears, movement with anchor escapement after Chevalier de Bethune, striking the hour on bell. Long rear pendulum. Iron weights.
28 x 16 x 45 cm.
