Old Swiss private collection. The inscription reads: Om swasti sidham! You entered the abode of Mahayana of Maitreya’s heart, / Practiced the fundamental meaning of the authentic Dharma’s ultimate essence / And perseverate in realization like an immoveable ocean. / Before sGrub brgyud bsTan ‘dzin (Drubgyü Tenzin) I bow down. / This portrait of that master, like the wish fulfilling jewel, / was executed out of the purest intention. / Therefore, may the aspiration of the Lama – the supreme guide – be accomplished / And may all sentient beings, our own mothers, attain Buddhahood! Auspicious!
