Travel clock, Franche-Comté, ca. 1810.

Mahogany.
Decorative mahogany case with ebony edges, the back with a sliding cover. Fire-gilt bezel, handle and spherical feet. Fine enamel dial signed: "Breguet et Fils" (Note: It is, however, not the famous Paris clock maker). Winding lever hidden under the bezel at 6h. Movement in the typical Franche-Comté style:
Only one spring barrel for the movement and the striking mechanism. 1/4 hour and 1 hour strike on gongs, pendulum with lever escapement. D 22 x 14 x 10 cm.
