LARGE 'SNOW BALL' VASE WITH LID,

Dresden, ca. 1880.
After a Meissen model by Johann Joachim Kändler. Applied all around with white blossoms and "snow balls", birds, and with two handles in the shape of branches with applied foliage. The lid with a parrot spreading its wings. Underglaze blue mark 'swords with star', incised mark.
H 81 cm.
