A FOUR-CASE KINJI GROUND LACQUER INRO.

Japan, 19th c. Height 9.5 cm.
Decorated in silver and gold makie, kinpun and kirikane with plovers (chidori) flying above towering rocks in a coastal landscape with a pine tree and bands of clouds. Globular bone ojime. Some wear.
