Oil on panel. Verso with a horizontal batten along a continuous vertical hairline crack, as well as old remnants of glue and a batten lower left. The paint surface in good condition, with fine horizontal craquelure. A fine hairline crack of ca. 25 cm visible. Light colour abrasions along the edges. Under UV light: a small amount of minor retouching visible in the sea as well as in the sky. The varnish fluoresces an irregular greenish colour.Dimensions with frame: 68.4 × 83.5 cm.
