Germany, in the style of Leonhard Kern, probably 17th century.
Ivory, carved all around. The woman stands at a tree stump, holding a branch in her hand.

The figure is strongly reminiscent of works by the 17th century Franconian woodcarver Leonhard Kern. He achieved great fame for the manufacture of small cabinets and figures. Comparable in the design of the figure on offer is, for example, a representation of the Hebe - Temperantia, in the Inventory of the Bode Museum Berlin (Inv. No. 716).
