AMITHAYUS.Tibet, 16th century. H 20.5 cm. Seated with rich head ornament on lotus throne. Gilt bronze with remains of cold gilding on the face, and with blue-coloured hair. Some of the gemstones replaced with glass. Base plate missing.

Der Boddhisattva sitzt mit reichem Kopfschmuck versehen auf einem Lotosthron, in den Händen den Behälter mit dem Lebenselixier. Gut proportionierte Figur aus feuervergoldeter Bronze. Reste von Kaltvergoldung im Gesicht, blau gefärbte Haare. Schmucksteine zum Teil aus Glas ergänzt. Bodenplatte verloren.
