NABESHIMA BOWL.Japan, Edo Period, D 15.3 cm. Two medaillons with stylized chrysanthemums and alternately coloured leaves. Radial pattern originating therefrom. Additional medaillon on the rim. On the back: three-fold shippo motif with ribbons. The foot ring features a crest pattern (kushi-e).

Zwei Medaillons mit stilisierten Chrysanthemen und abwechselnd gefärbten Blättern. Davon ausgehend Strahlenmuster in verblassendem Blau und mit Parkettmuster. Am Rand weiteres Medaillon. Rückseitig dreimal das shippo-Motiv mit Schleifen. Der Fussring mit Kammmuster (kushi-e).
