BELT FRAGMENT - former Kofler-Truniger collection
Ziwiye, late 7th century BC.
Solid gold. Rectangular belt fragment with grooved central ridge and stylized eagle head decorative border, round indentations partly filled with green glass paste.
L 4.9 cm, W 2.1 cm. Total weight 20.8 g.
Cracks. Partially bent.
Provenance:
- Swiss private collection, Lucerne, acquired from the above in ca. 1974.
- By inheritance in the same Swiss family collection, Lucerne.
