Parallèlement à nos ventes aux enchères de tableaux de Maîtres Anciens et du 19e siècle, Koller propose des dessins allant du Moyen Âge au 19e siècle dans un chapitre distinct, chaque année en mars et en septembre. L'un des lots phares de ces ventes fut un dessin à la sanguine d'un artiste florentin du 16e siècle, acquis par le Metropolitan Museum of Art pour CHF 720 000.

Le Kunstmuseum de Bâle a par ailleurs acheté récemment chez nous un dessin de la Renaissance allemande attribué à Hans Weiditz. D'autres résultats exceptionnels ont été obtenus pour des œuvres de Parmigianino, Giovanni Battista Piazetta, Hans Burgkmair, Giambattista Tiepolo et Guercino.Depuis quelques années, la popularité croissante de l'art du 19e siècle s'observe également dans le domaine du dessin avec une demande accrue pour les dessins et les études de cette période. Une étude d'arbre du jeune Caspar David Friedrich fut par ailleurs redécouverte dans une propriété suisse par le spécialiste en charge du département. L’œuvre enrichit désormais non seulement la collection d'un amateur éclairé, mais aussi les connaissances actuelles sur cet important artiste du Romantisme allemand.

Nous acceptons les consignations jusqu'à la mi-janvier pour la vente de mars et jusqu'à la fin juillet pour la vente de septembre.

Rich figural and ornamental gold embossing with classical motifs, borders on the inner edges and gilt edges on three sides. Chased brass clasps with turquoises. Signed: Bougslav 1832.
Twelve of the views signed, of which some dated. Including: Thomas Ender (1793-1875); Josef Höger (1801-1877); Carl Robert Croll (1800-1863); Bader; Wustrow. Each with old inscription in French in pen and brown ink on the backing paper verso.
