NoneThe Rolex Cosmograph Daytona is one of the most sought-after chronograph models. When it is also equipped with the rare “exotic”, so-called “Paul Newman” dial, its aesthetics and collector's value increase considerably. This dial, which is characterized by its three-dimensional construction with recessed sub-dials and recessed outer ring, was an alternative dial variant offered to customers at the time. Ironically, this variant was not appreciated by the market at the time of its production. It took a very long time for collectors to appreciate this “exotic” dial variant. This particular watch is new to the market and comes directly from the first owner.
