Renaissance, indistinctly monogrammed WL (probably Erhard Liechti, died in 1591) and dated 1560.

Wrought iron, in part painted. 4 pillars holding the bell frame, painted red, with 2 bells, one on top of the other. Finely painted dial with window for moon phase, pierced dial with cut-out hour wheel and central coat-of-arms with date. One finely painted hand. Movements with iron cogwheels, arranged on behind the other. Finely shaped bell hammers, striking the hour and half-hour. Paint work of the dial, restored.

Shaped walnut, in part ebonized. Central drawer. The front and back opulently paneled.The sides with finely sculpted handles. The inside lined with "Herrnhuter" pasted paper. Additional drawer, secret compartment and mechanism for the lateral secret drawer in the frame. Original tin-plated iron locks, hinges and mounts.

Walnut and various fruitwoods, exquisitely inlaid with animals, nuts, flower garlands, reserves and decorative frieze. Rectangular, hinged body. The recessed top inlaid with a checker board, verso with a board for Nine Men's Morris, the inside with a "Back Gammon" board. Fine iron mounts.

Walnut, cherrywood and domestic fruitwoods in veneer, finely inlaid with an architectural scene, a group of human figures, stylized flowers, leaves and decorative frieze. Front with hinge, finely inlaid leaf. Fitted interior with central door surrounded by 18 drawers in part of different sizes. Iron mounts. Requires some restoration. On a later stand.

probably Netherlands 2nd half of the 17th century. The rim mount marked.

The nautilus shell with carving in low relief and engraving of insects heightened in black ink, the execution of which probably attributed to the Bellekien family of artists (also known as Belquien and Belkien, active in the 2nd half of the 17th century). The rim mount marked and likewise to be assigned to the 17th century. The c-scroll side brackets, stem and base of a later date. The nautilus shell with repaired area.
