Stand for a large water ewer "bacile di versatore“. The centre with depiction of the antique mythological scene "Apollo und Daphne" within three circular bands with grotesque decoration in Compendiario style with depictions of satyrs, birds and scrollwork in between antique medallions on a white ground.

Meissen, model by Johann Jacob Irminger, c. 1710.

Reddish-brown, polished stoneware with unpolished relief elements. Of octagonal, conical form with curved spout with eagle head and curved handle. With a cartouche with unpolished crowned coat of arms in the field between the handle attachments, the field above the spout with a mask issuing a connecting support to the spout. The polished cover with palmette finial. Potter's mark: five-pointed star incised below the attachment of the handle.

H 10 cm. D 10.5 cm. Old repair to the handle (Lepke auction, 1925 "gekittet" (cemented)).

The form and decoration after a Japanese model, ominaeshi and bamboo. The edge with pierced decoration of overlapping rings, painted in Kakiemon style. Underglaze blue rod of Asclepius mark, incised mark / in the base ring.

Model with "Altem Ausschnitt". With a jumping blue lion behind a bamboo cane with a winding stem of flowering peony, a large peony bouquet on the right, and with three 'indianische' flower sprigs on the rim. Brown edge line. Underglaze blue sword mark, incised mark // and former's mark for Johann Elias Grund.

D 29.5 cm. Small repair to the edge.
