Elegant Chevalière ring, set with 1 octagonal emerald of ca. 20.00 ct, probably Brasil, moderately oiled, with intaglio, small chip in a corner. Depicting a mythological scene of Zeus on the "sedia curilis", handing over weapons and a helmet to a warrior, with Hermes in the background. Fluted ring setting and the ring shoulders decorated with flowers and volutes. Size ca. 53.
