A LARGE BOULLE PENDULUM CLOCK ON PLINTH,
Louis XVI, 18th century. The dial and movement signed PIERRE JACQUET DROZ Ä LA CHAUX DE FONDS. The case signed J. JOLLAIN (André-Jérôme Jollain, maitre 1768).
The case with Contre-Boulle marquetry in brass, mother-of-pearl and dyed horn and tortoiseshell. Bronze mounts. Enamel dial (chipped and repaired). The movement rebuilt from spindle to anchor escapement and quarter-hour striking on 2 bells. Restored.
