Bartsch 47; Meder 45 probably a (of d, before the vertical wiping scratches rising from the ground at right and left of the tree). Fine, clear and even impression. Trimmed all around to the plate edge. Laid down overall on an old backing sheet. Restorations to both upper corners and the lower right corner. Paper loss there with additions in brown pen. Sheet predominantly evenly browned. Light whitish discolouration in the right margin, possibly from earlier restoration. Two small paper losses in the right margin. Probably several closed pinholes within the image. Local minor surface abrasion. Closed tear in the cloak lower left. Handling marks and signs of age. Overall still in good condition.
