"Apple" belongs to the "Ads" series, which Warhol created in 1985. In this series, he explores logos, advertising symbols, and brand icons. The choice of the Apple logo is particularly significant: even in the mid-1980s, Apple already represented technological innovation, modern design, and a new lifestyle—a brand at the center of public attention. Through its clear aesthetics and high recognition value, the Apple logo embodies an ideal image of consumption, identity, and belonging. Warhol appropriates this symbol to make visible the close connection between brands and everyday culture—and thus also the role of consumption as a defining element of contemporary life.
