Gothic, France, 15th century.
Oak core, with opulent iron mounts designed as pierced, stylised tendrils. Rectangular box, with hinged cover, iron lock. The escutcheon is hidden. The inside with remains of old fabric. The bottom with an old inventory label 489. Some losses. No key.
17x26x12 cm.
